World View Perspective: Transforming Old Human Behavior Patterns
When we are developing as children, our influences are all around us. Parents or original caregivers, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, siblings, neighborhood friends, school friends, teachers to name a few. We have our own inherent natures, talents, abilities, inclinations and tendencies, of course. Yet, like a piece of clay, we are being sculpted into what our families expect, want to see for themselves, prefer to see and will work to mold us into. We utilize these aspects and features and factor them into our sense of self, our self-identity, our self esteem and our growing confidence. As our personalities continue developing, we might find ourselves going in different directions due to a variety of factors that we might not be aware of and yet they continue to pull us in new directions. Are they shaping us in new ways, in some improved ways or are they carrying a negative imprint of some kind? Have we signed up for an ancestral cleansing, a healing for our family, a soul awakening? Are we programmed and conditioned to be just like Grandpa, follow in Mom's footsteps or play roles our parents never got to finish.
As we grow and develop further, we might try on these expectations, wear these old styles, play out some of the roles and try to make them fit or see how well we can force ourselves into fitting into them. For a time, they might actually fit. After some time, we might be so identified with them, we don't realize they were actually for someone else to play out. In that case, it may be time to shed them for something better.
Just like our clothes closet that must change over time, we must, for our growth, continue trying on our old clothes, our old identifications, our old roles and our old limitations. Maybe our mom was very afraid of icy roads and so we fear any sign of snow. Maybe our dad tried 15 careers before he found where he's be successful so we think we better do the same. Perhaps our grandfather was a top notch business man so for years, we push ourselves even harder to get there. And yet, what if none of those imposed on us roles are really real for us? Or we've done them to the best of our ability and now we see or sense other ways to go beyond them.
Our first step would be to identify the old human behavior patterns that we have continued to play out that we may have unconsciously clung to in order to stay identifying ourselves that way. For example, prettiest daughter, smartest son, most athletic child, best artist in the family, etc. Only now, the inner prompt has come to advance that old self-image, let go of those old ideas about our self because we are now evolving. We gained a skill set, we gathered more and more information or knowledge or we are self-taught and succeeding in a new direction. Perhaps now, the old identifications and self-images are too restrictive, too tight and limiting for who we are becoming now. Just like cleaning out our old clothes closet, we have to be willing and determined to shift, change, and consciously advance what has been old and can now make room for what wants to evolve. Fear must go, reluctance must go and resistance must go. The old human habit set of behavior patterns must be allowed to go so we can grow. It is like eating the same breakfast every morning but experiencing no weight loss. We have finally had enough so we make healthier changes and choices and now, we can readily see those changes were impactful towards our goal for weight loss.
Perhaps our parents were limited themselves and therefore, unconsciously or consciously, they imposed those same limitations on us. By consciously breaking through those limitations, we set our new, more evolved self free. We are becoming ourselves, free of any and all old outworn identifications, limitations or old frequencies or vibrations because we are clearly no longer that!
As we grow, expand and realize OUR TRUE POTENTIAL, our natural frequencies and vibrations will expand and grow, too. What is right for us at these HIGHER frequencies and vibrations will appear and align with us.
If a parent, for example, treated you less than you were often and every action from them was negative, hurtful or harmful to you, an aspect of you may have held onto that memory and have believed deeply that you were that! You didn't deserve more, shouldn't try for more and certainly, not to expect more. Yet, what if that parent was too underdeveloped to know you, understand you or even have the skills to support you properly. If we don't aspire to grow beyond that limitation imposed on us, we might not achieve all that is possible for us. We can be grateful for what they could and did provide but it is up to us to grow to and through that set of circumstances to reach OUR TRUE POTENTIAL! OUR OWN INNER LIGHT can be instrumental in showing us how to achieve that TRUE POTENTIAL!
Consequently, we must break down those old self images, old pictures and constraints of ourselves, broaden our view into an expanded vision and accept how far we can go. We must trust we can do this and trust when it is time. We can ask OUR OWN INNER LIGHT to guide us to and through this important growth cycle, showing us what the next steps to take are to get there. Our old human behavior patterns were there for a reason. Maybe for basic survival, maybe for understanding life, maybe just to keep us safe but after thanking them, it is time to trust our new growth and expansion to develop further as we are shown the way. AND, THE WAY IS GOOD!!
