World View Perspective: The hideous nature of a sabotaging ego

When a small, still, unhappy aspect of our self surfaces, it can be quite useful to give it some time and  attention.  Just like a misbehaving child, sometimes it just wants/needs to be heard, held or valued for what it has to say.  Sometimes, it can be comforted, soothed or calmed down with simple affection, understanding and love.  Other times, absolutely nothing will quiet it because it is out of balance and refuses to be still.  It can wreak havoc because it has become fitful, tired, ignorned or fed up. When we have an unhappy, dissatisfied, twisted, tainted or sabotaging ego, this ego can act very similar. It can feed us such negative inner verbiage, judgement, criticism that we attach, identify and react to it, as if it is us. Yes, our ego can protect us, too, and help us discern what is not for us but if it has a self-sabotaging agent to it, an element of a negative self-image, it can effectively seize the system into falsehood, convin...

World View Perspective: Releasing our deep emotional pain to experience our truer self

Human beings have a remarkable way to hide their deepest emotional pain.  We can hide it so well, that we even fool ourselves into believing it is gone.  If we find ourselves in a place of confusion, discontent, depression, poor health or too much stress, anxiety or  tension, it could be a deep emotional release is necessary.  Perhaps, anger towards someone or a group of someones, must also be released.  In that case, do not go to them directly to release it but rather, do it energetically.  In your rich imagination, poof up a red 'rage cage' for your self.  See its shape, size and the space it is in.  When you are ready, open the door, step in and close it.  Feel the safety in there.  Now, bring up any and all rage and vent inside your rage cage.  Stomp around in it, shout, scream, yell and or cry, just get it out, knowing it isn't hurting anyone but instead, you are simply releasing it. Let the memories ...

World View Perspective: Necessary shifts, changes and adaptations to a new self image

As we grow, shift and change, it is important to allow our new self images to come to the surface. Our INNER LIGHT shines into our darkness, illuminating what we have pushed down, hidden, denied or even lied about so we can not look it straight in the eye. We tend to avoid such heavy dark energy because it appears so frightening and perhaps, we can't even  imagine it is us, at all.  Closing the curtains on such imagery, feelings or thoughts can make us think it has disappeared from view. Yet, within that trapped darkness, the LIGHT is also shining.  The energy of Yin and Yang tells us that as does Carl Jung. We cannot have dark without the LIGHT or LIGHT without the dark.  We need integration of both for WHOLENESS and to walk in the middle, aware of both. Once our LIGHT has  illuminated something within us to see, notice, work with or adapt to, that is the time to consciously, actively, allow the lighter, brighter, sense of self, up and out.  To unders...
