World View Perspective: Our system may experience trauma but we are not our system

Our human system; physical, emotional, sexual, mental and intellectual may experience trauma, hurt, abuse or neglect, etc., and we may find ways to begin the healing process as a result.  There are many pathways towards that healing.  Therapy, sound healing, meditation, yoga, working with a healer, finding a spiritual teacher, doing deep relaxation, Reiki, etc. As Albert Einstein taught us, when we have used one means to have created the problem, we will need another means to heal it.  This is when our Own Inner LIGHT comes in. Within us, and around us, there is a LIGHT that shines. We may have forgotten that LIGHT exists because we have been programmed and conditioned to just use our conscious mind to think. But  that LIGHT is there and it can be accessed, communicated with and understood.  OUR LIGHT wants us to grow, heal, expand and collaborate with it to become much more aware and conscious of all of who we are and what we are capable of in life. When our hu...

World View Perspective: Shining the Light into deception

We can be 'con artists' of our own destiny when we engage in deception.  Looking deeper, we can see that deception comes from our own deep ego  desires that we feel we must have satisfied, no matter what.  Almost a desperate search for that deep longing to be fulfilled.  If an obvious, above board way cannot happen or does not show itself, we can find nefarious ways to produce that result we are seeking. This behavior or pursuit does not make us 'bad guys' but rather momentary 'shadow dancers'.  We may have to enter the shadow side of our nature in order to find where that need can be met.  Carl Jung' s work tells us we all have a shadow side.  Carl Jung encourages us to locate it, face it and ultimately integrate it into us in order to continue pursuing WHOLENESS.   If we just pursue the LIGHT, we are also inviting the dark to also be present. The opposite force does and will come so we can integrate them both.  Think Yin and Yang. ...

World View Perspective: Once you find the wound

Once we locate the wounds that our physical systems have been unconsciously or subconsciously protecting, holding onto,  cultivating, hiding, falsely identifying with, just observing it, helps it to shift!!  Albert Einstein told us that essentially, anything observed will change due to the sheer observation of it.  When we locate our wound and begin to ferret it out into the open through self-compassion, self-love, self understanding, expect it to look and act a bit like a wounded animal.  You will recognize the wounded part but as you go towards it, it may turn on you and bite.  That reaction is due to fear and pain, despite how hopeful you are to help! When we have the inner courage to find our own LIGHT and set up constant communication with it, that same LIGHT will shine into our own darkness.  When the darkness we've hidden, repressed, suppressed or depressed begins to surface, Carl Jung teaches us that our unconscious aspects, now ...
