On first thought truth sounds like what we all want and something we would all benefit from receiving.  However, "when God enters a room, so does everything unlike him."  Meaning often the opposite response happens after truth has spoken.  Truth can illicit fear.  When we don't recognize the fear we carry, other feelings like hate can occur, perhaps masking as fear.  When a society or a person aligns with and can speak truth, clarity and Love are there too.
