World View Perspective: The mechanisms of change

If we study the life cycle of anything that grows; children, animals, plants, flowers or vegetables, we notice that changes often usher in the greater growth.  The wind in late fall blows off the leaves, covering the forest ground in one last blast of color before the fresh white blanket of snow falls.  It lets a natural process happen, which is important for what comes after it.  It allows the seasons to continue.  The new growth of Spring is ushered in onto the empty branches.  The same with our human experiences.  Change happens and change is necessary for greater growth, expansion and JOY!

As we get older, our children grow into adults, marry and begin having their families.  We were once out front, leading our lives, getting our educations and finding our spouses, houses and starting our families.  We begin retreating and slowing down as they begin their quest for often the very same things.  When things begin to shift and change, however, we can 'take issue' with what is changing instead of standing back and recognizing the mechanism of change that is occurring.

It isn't to say we are powerless beyond control.  Yet, it is important to recognize when a natural process is happening and to maybe even see it as a positive one.  No one wants poor health, low energy or depression as a personal choice.  Yet, perhaps, it is showing you that now is the time to shift and change your lifestyle so that what you are experiencing has the best chance to be offset.  Yes, it is noticing a shift but perhaps it is also showing you how, with greater awareness, you can make it is easier on yourself through the recognition of it.

Once we have our lives all set up, we often don't really want too many changes because it could 'upset the apple cart', which isn't healthy or happy, in our mind.  Yet, there is a bigger picture of life, and sometimes with or without our best effort, things can change whether we like it or not.

Often within these changes, we have another process to go through that ultimately is better for our health and happiness or, at the very least, allows us to grow on and go on.  So, as painful, challenging or difficult as changes appear to be, there is often a deeper, more purposeful silver lining present that, with luck, we can often see after the fact.

We can't always see that far down the road.  We can stay open, trust, apply our best sense of things and trust that an even bigger part of our self is looking out for our best interests.

In hindsight, we can look back in a state of gratitude and see why the mechanisms of change came into our lives and allowed us to move forward.  Without them, we can remain stuck, shut down to other possibilities, slow down sooner than necessary and become ill when we could open our minds and hearts and embrace the changes instead.

Loving change, when it is necessary, allows us to move on in a Higher state of JOY!  That level of JOY is always ours for the taking!  It is a natural state of being, just as LOVING LIFE as it comes is too.  We can always change our mind and embrace JOY and LOVING LIFE as often as possible.  And, it is GOOD!
