The cycle and process of growth and change has in it new beginnings and openings, blossoming, fullness and slow signs of decay until the end when new beginnings are possible again.  Seasons and life cycles all show this pattern.  The peach begins as an innocent flower, dropping its petals as the young fruit ripens into fullness, finally dropping the aging peach to the ground, leaving just the pit, awaiting spring once again.  When we try to grab onto what is fading instead of focusing on what is ripening, we forget the absolute wonder of life and how evolution needs our energy too. Strengthening the new with our focus helps to usher in the future aspects of life and Love itself.
